Phil Ade: 'The Letterman' (Album)
We previously heard from this relative newcomer in June, when the video for "The Letter" hit the 'net. Aside from the impressive visuals, the track within displayed Phil Ade's immense potential as he was able spitting underdog raps without sounding bitter or unjustly upset. And now, we finally have the project featuring that track. The Letterman is this Maryland-based MC's latest effort since last year's Starting on JV mixtape. He put together this project with the help of resident mixtape DJ Don Cannon, who seems to be hosting every damn mixtape that comes out these days. The 20-track project, which actually serves as a free album, features guests such as Raheem DeVaughn, Skillz, Wale, Raekwon, and several others.
