"Shine" is a first look at Pharoahe Monch's third album W.A.R. Diamond D laces the single with some mellow vibes vaguely reminiscent of his kalimba-sampling joint "Feel The Vibe" from a while back. A considerably more downtempo effort in comparison to his prior album Desire, but the inimitable flow is still intact. Past collaborator Mela Machinko ("Push," "Let's Go," "Bar Trap") returns to assist with the chorus. "Shine" will be available via iTunes on July 27. As previously reported, the album will be released through Duck Down Music.
