Peter Gabriel

Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa (Vampire Weekend cover) ft. Hot Chip (MP3)

Average Rating: 7.00

Hot Chip can't seem to get enough of British music icons lately. Last week we brought you the fruits of their collaboration with Robert Wyatt, and this week we got our mitts on their Vampire Weekend cover 'Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa' with none other than Peter Gabriel on vocals.

Of course, the question has to be asked- does it feel so unnatural to Peter Gabriel too? You'll have to listen to the track to find out. [Les Inrocks]

LOVE this track from PG. I truly think history will see him as one of our best musicians of our time, with his music giving a record of how some of us relate to our spirituality. Kudos on this one!!!

I like the cover better than the original... even though the Peter Gabriel involvement is so random!

I love it! But what's up with the ridiculous amounts of compression during the third (extended) chorus? Poor recording or poor mp3?
