Peter Bjorn and John

"Just the Past" (Live Video)

Average Rating: 8.50

Peter Bjorn and John's latest song, "Just the Past" is less of a synthy dancer (and less dancing Japanese motorcycle gang worthy) than their new single "Nothing to Worry About"-- it's a low-key affair led my a somber marimba line. Granted, this version, recorded for a Swedish web show called PSL, is mostly acoustic, so there could be some huge synth lines attached to this that are not present here.

Either way, both tracks we've heard from Peter Bjorn and John's upcoming Living Thing (due out on March 31 via Almost Gold) are pretty grand. [Pitchfork]

Kinda sounds like the same melody and cadence of Mad World covered by Gary Jules. What do ya think?

I didn't think Mad World by Gary Jules, but I did like the track.
