"Breaker Breaker" is the first song/video to surface from Peter Bjorn and John's upcoming full-length Gimme Some, and for those of us that sort of tuned the band out since the ubiquitous "Young Folks" it comes as somewhat of a shock. "Breaker Breaker" is taught, frantic and comes in just shy of the two minute mark, a big departure from the lazily unfolding songs from the Writer's Block era. While the video hardly mines any new territory conceptually, the sped-up performance of the band rocking out does fit the song's stripped-down intensity. [Stereogum]
