A little more than a month from the release of their upcoming album, Yes, The Pet Shop Boys performed a medley of their biggest hits at the Brit Awards last night. Lady GaGa and Brandon Flowers made appearances, but the main attraction was the spectacle of the stage show, complete with dancers and dazzling images on a big screen, and of course, some pretty classic tracks like "Go West," "It's A Sin" and the latest single, "Love, etc.," produced by Xenomania (Girls Aloud, Sugababes). Why can't the Grammys ever have performances this cool? [via Idolator]
awesome!!! can't believe i still haven't caught them live - with any luck, they'll tour in support of yes and include something similar to this ... and is the 2 guys playing electronic music in front of a pyramid a little (tongue-in-cheek?) nod to daft punk or purely coincidence??
ugh. they ought to tour in support of the band Yes.
hello?! daft punk were in diapers when pet shop boys were churning out number ones already. if there's any nodding to be done it would be the other way around.
