Stripping down one of Madonna's more emotional cuts, Perfume Genius's Mike Hadreas takes the perhaps overproduced 1989 single "Oh Father" and guts it to its soul-destroying core. With nothing more than lo-fi keyboard and his signature cracking voice, Hadreas re-imagines the '80s tune as a sparse, haunting, and candid cover.
