Even though it's been three years since Percee P's Perserverence: The Madlib Remix dropped, I wouldn't be surprised if I saw him trying to sell copies of the album at a hip-hop show in New York City. What did surprised me, though, is the fact he's just released these visuals for "The Woman Behind Me" now and not, say, in 2008. But hey, some things take time to figure out. And the video is actually pretty damn good thanks to the direction and edits of Ivan Ives. He follows the Bronx rapper's storyline and even utilizes the female vocal samples that Madlib placed throughout the track. Could this mean we'll be hearing from Percee P again this year? We'll see.
Perserverence: The Madlib Remix is out now.
