Pearl Jam are currently on a cross-country jaunt with Band of Horses, and has become common during Pearl Jam tours, there has been some cross-band performances at some of the stops. Most recently at Madison Square Garden, Band of Horses frontman Ben Bridwell jumped onstage with Pearl Jam for a performance of grunge rock supergroup Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike." The original was more or less Pearl Jam plus Chris Cornell, but minus a Cornell and plus a Bridwell works just fine too, with Bridwell totally crushing the call and response part of the chorus. Bridwell sort of looks uncomfortable being in front of that many people shouting the lyrics back at him, but maybe this is the mainstream breakthrough Band of Horses worked towards on their most current album, Infinite Arms.
