Before he put together his 2011 breakthrough Nostalgia, Ultra, and long before he started working with the likes of Jay-Z and Kanye, Frank Ocean went by the name Lonny Breaux. We’ve heard music from this period of Ocean’s career before, particularly on last year’s The Lonnie Breaux Collection, but this one, “PDA,” goes back quite a ways. Originally a reference track for (no kidding) the Backstreet Boys’ 2009 This Is Us comeback album, the song is a straight-up swooning R&B jam, and it’s a pleasant little archival.
