Patrick Wolf: "Hard Times" (Video)

Patrick Wolf isn’t happy. Writing on his MySpace blog, Wolf has lashed out at people who come to his shows and shower him with abuse. “My good lord, I am not the Jonas brothers,” he writes. “If you want that kind of ’rapport’ from a musician then do leave me and my band in peace to get on with singing, performing and making music while onstage or at least engage or enjoy with the show or get the hell out.”

He has also debuted the fabulously pretentious video for “Hard Times,” which is taken from his self-released album, The Bachelor. Daubed in luminous makeup, Wolf performs the song amid confetti and a legion of drummers, with the only disappointment being the occasional fractals, which resemble a low quality screensaver.
