
Left-field Portland theatrical poppers Parenthetical Girls continue with their Privilege 12-inch series next month, as they release Privilege IV: Sympathy for Spastics on Nov. 1 via Slender Means Society. The band has released the big single from the new release, and it's a good one: It's a frantic, strings-heavy jaunt called "A Note to Self." Parenthetical Girls, thanks to their general weirdness, seem like a band that will be forever overlooked, but dive into the Privilege Series and you'll find one of the most original bands working today.
