Pac Div: "Let Loose"
Over the past few years, numerous new West Coast acts have caught the attention of the hip-hop blogosphere. And sometimes, that popularity can be pushed further, especially if you happen to be the trio of Pac Div. These three guys have dropped pretty much nothing but solid music since debuting several years ago. They then caught a huge buzz with "Mayor" in the summer of 2009. But their output has been slow as of late, minus last year's free Don't Mention It, with a long-in-the-works proper debut hopefully on the way. There's no indication that this latest Pac Div cut -- the dialed-down, catchy, and smooth "Let Loose" -- will be on their debut, Grown Kid Syndrome, but if they plan on dropping more free gems like this, we can't really complain.
