oOoOO: "NoWayBack" F. Butterclock
In 2010's glut of "witch house," Tri Angle Records band oOoOO kind of fell through the cracks next to headline grabbers Salem and Balam Acab's foray into L'Oreal advertising. But they came out the other side, maintaining their rhythm & doom aesthetic here on the track "NoWayBack," which features Parisian singer Butterclock on the haunting vocals, whose own solo work fits a similar mode. "NoWayBack" is the first track we're hearing from Our Love Is Hurting Us, oOoOO's forthcoming EP, which is due April 10.
