For reasons that probably only make sense to the Canadians in attendance here (Maple Leafs coats for the laugh) Onyx were on Much Music's Rap City performing their Jock Jams classic "Slam." Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr haven't performed together much recently; mostly they've been playing villains on critically acclaimed TV shows (Fingaz on The Shield, Starr on The Wire). But they can still rap okay! And in a way makes goofballs dance awkwardly (check that dude to the left of the group. Don't drop your pants, dude!). I think we're in a weird time for rap when "classic" groups can reunite on Canadian TV. Who's next? Arrested Development? [NahRight]
