Okkervil River: "Mermaid"

Okkervil River are gearing up to release their new LP, I Am Very Far, in May, but today saw the release of a new 7-inch that compiles two tracks that didn't make the album. You can hear "Mermaid," one of said tracks. It's a slow-burning ballad about a literal Mermaid. It's vintage Okkervil, and emotionally wrenching. Great stuff.
