The recent wave of Muppets-related nostalgia is about the only nostalgia wave I can fully get behind: the Muppets are something that at least make sense to be revived. It's not like kids don't like puppets anymore, or that Kermit still doesn't have some shit to teach us about being made out of felt. So this video for OK Go's cover of "The Muppet Show Theme" is pretty perfect in that "OMG the Muppets!" kind of way, and the fact that it ends with the insinuation that one of the dudes from OK Go boned a couple dogs, shows that the Muppets might be back to being at least a little subversive. At least we can hope? Or is boning dogs pretty normal on kids shows now? I have no idea.
