Muppets: The Green Album features reworkings of all your favorite songs from the Muppets by bands including Weezer, My Morning Jacket, Andrew Bird and OK Go. The latter appeared on Jay Leno’s show last night (Aug. 31) to promote the record, with this frenetic version of the main theme from the original show. Guest drummer Animal manages to completely upstage everyone—doesn’t he always?—while the members of OK Go lurch through a disjointed version of the song. The diminutive Muppet even gets a drum-off with OK Go’s drummer midway through the song, and there’s only ever going to be one winner in that contest. [via The Audio Perv]
