Oh No has a knack for transforming even a smudge of inspiration into music (his most recent LP OhNoMite, for instance, was built on samples of the classic 1975 blaxploitation film, Dolemite). For "Let's Go," the Oxnard, California producer-MC swings a left, ditching the traditional hip-hop for a bouncy club sound, as inspired by a recent visit to a rave.
"My inspiration for 'Let’s Go' happens to be a crazy party overseas in Europe,” he tells MTV Hive of the new track. “I walked into a big-ass rave with fire torches, tents, thousands of people getting drunk, no police, no problems — just everybody having a grand time."
