Of Montreal have taken to performing covers at the end of their shows lately (as this video proves) and this weekend in Atlanta, they did a pretty awesome cover of Franz Ferdinand’s “Take Me Out.” The clip starts with some dude with huge paper arms sweeping the floor, but at 2:15 the song kicks in, and Of Montreal do with three guitarists and two drummers what Franz Ferdinand do with just two and one respectively. The video quality is a little bit suspect, but the audio is pretty pristine here. [Stereogum]

I saw them in philly on halloween, they covered "smells like teen spirit" to close the night, it was a pretty good cover as well. |
