Of Montreal: "Mingusings" (Video)

The video for Of Montreal’s “Mingusings” is a typically quirky effort. The clip for the penultimate track on Skeletal Lamping follows a masked Marcel Marceau-like figure as he causes chaos for everyone around him. The low-budget (but endearing) video was shot by the band’s longtime collaborator, Nick Gould.

Kevin Barnes doesn’t make an appearance in the clip until halfway through, at which point he is carried across a river by the masked figure, who also takes time to chop some wood, meet a few other people who look just like him, and ultimately swim out to sea to an uncertain fate.
