Nurses: "Technicolor" (Audio)

The title of this track and the Devendra Banhart-esque vocals that open "Technicolor" reveal Nurses' influences and prepare you for the rest of the song, but not for their ability to still sound fresh and strange. In folk fashion the vocals are the centerpiece of the song, but the percussion, while spare, gives the song its peculiar rhythm and marks the territory as the Nurses' own.
