“Nothing To Lose” F. Nas

K’naan has been relatively quiet since releasing Troubadour back in 2009, though it’s not like he has been completely off the grid. He dropped a trio of EPs with acclaimed DJ/producer J.Period and wrote the theme song for the 2010 World Cup. He also apparently spent some time in the studio working on his follow-up to Troubadour that we’ll be hearing Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the form of the More Beautiful Than Silence EP. It features guest appearances from Nelly Furtado and Nas, the latter of whom appears on “Nothing to Lose.” You can stream that track below and be sure to listen for the reference to when everyone thought Nas was Somalian.
