No Age: "You're a Target" (Live on Surveillance) (Video)

No Age were everywhere at this year’s ATP NY—if they weren’t collaborating with Bob Mould and Bradford Cox on stage, they were shooting short films and jamming in hotel rooms. It’s to the latter that we return on this clip, with the band delivering a version of “You’re a Target” for Pitchfork’s Surveillance series.

 

The song is taken from the recently issued Losing Feeling EP, and eschews the band’s artier impulses for some straightforward fuzzed up punk riffing. Mould has clearly left a big impression on Randy Randall and Dean Spunt, although that influence has always been lurking in their music since day one.
