No Age: "Glitter" and "Inflorescence"

We still have to wait until Sept. 28 to actually get our hands on No Age's sophomore full-length Everything In Between, but the wait won't be as bad now that the duo of Randy Randall and Dean Spunt have unveiled its first single. "Glitter" will be released in both 7" and 12" forms, each with exclusive b-sides, on Aug. 24. The track features a near call and response between Spunt's melodic, laid back singing and Randall's guitar, which sprays feedback like an especially harsh garden hose. It's topped off with synthetic hand claps and a steady, driving drum beat.

The b-side of the 7", "Inflorescence," has also been revealed. It hews a little bit closer to the traditional No Age sound, with fuzzy guitars, more reverb-laden vocals, and a part that sounds like the song is entering some sort of tunnel. Give both tracks a listen below.

yeah, "Glitter" is way different than their past stuff. Really liking both songs though. Can't wait to hear the album.
