Nite Jewel: "Let's Go (The Two Of Us Together)" (Live at Wierd) (Video)

The folks at Wierd Records are responsible for running a label and club night in New York City, and have been key players in the burgeoning coldwave movement. Last week, they invited Nite Jewel to appear at the club, and shot this video of “Let’s Go (The Two of Us Together)” to commemorate the event.

Ramona Gonzalez and her band are currently on tour with coldwavers Cold Cave, although the Nite Jewel sound is much sunnier than most bands connected to the scene. This clip suffers from sound problems, with the audio occasionally blurring into distortion, but it’s beautifully shot, and presents a great snapshot of Gonzalez’s growing confidence as a live performer.
