Cool kids are wearing flannel, Pavement is playing shows again, and a new Nirvana track is big news. No, it's not the nineties, but if you're not paying close attention it's an easy mistake to make! Sub Pop Records is re-releasing Nirvana's 1989 debut, Bleach, and offering a free, previously unreleased live Nirvana track for download. "Scoff" was recorded at the band's 1990 show at Pine Street Theatre in Portland, and mixed from the original tapes by Bleach and Insecticide producer Jack Endino it doesn't have any of the glistening, aerodynamic surfaces present on Nevermind and In Utero, which is doubtless something that a lot of fans could do without.
