It seemed like the promotional train behind Nicki Minaj's "Massive Attack" stalled before it got started, so here's her second "official" single, "Your Love." It's a more R&B-centric song than "Massive Attack," but it's probably just as rough. Minaj gets into some gooey whisper-rap here over a readily identifiable sample (though I can't name the artist at the moment--call it a brain fart). The big positive is that she doesn't do her goofy shout thing here, mostly keeping it dialed down (though she still makes little to no sense at all).
Minaj is reportedly planning a video for the track, and is still at work on her debut album. Download over at NahRight.
I'm sure she'll have many more trains behind her in the future. Zing
This song is really boring to me. I can enjoy her when she's going all Luda-ish on a track, but not this Drake-sounding nonsense.
No More I Love Yous, Annie Lennox doood.
Dude, I knew it was Annie Lennox, but I couldn't remember if it was a Eurythmics or a solo joint. Thanks, brah.
