Nicki Minaj: "Turn Me On" F. David Guetta & "Super Bass" (Live At AMAs) (Video)
Per usual, the American Music Awards were, erm, interesting, to say the least. They're kind of like the MTV Video Music Awards with an even more mainstream bent. Although for the most part, they're pretty damn similar with acts like Chris Brown, Drake, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Ludacris, and so on taking home awards and performing live on stage. In the case of this post, you can watch Nicki open the show with her two-song performance.
She starts with the nails-on-a-chalk-board "Turn Me On" with David Guetta before moving into the terribly cheesy-but-goddamn-it's-catchy "Super Bass." Later in the evening, she would take home awards for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album. You can watch the performance below. [MWP]
