Nicki Minaj: "Super Bass" (Groundislava Remix)
Los Angeles' Jasper Patterson, better known as Groundislava, has set his sights on removing all the sugar and bubble-gum vibes from Nicki Minaj's huge single, "Super Bass." And what we're left with is an ominous, somewhat trappy version of the track that, well, sounds better (to me, at least) than the original. It also might remind you of the days when we were more interested in hearing Minaj, you know, rap instead of churning out fluff like this. Who knows, maybe she'll make up for it on her upcoming album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. You can stream the remix below.
