No one is selling any records at present—seriously, when Cake hits the no. 1 spot you know these are End Times—and Nicki Minaj is the latest person to benefit from the terminal lull. Pink Friday is currently sitting on top of the Billboard 100, with a mere 44,000 copies sold in the past week, and Minaj showed up on Jay Leno’s show last night (Feb. 10) to celebrate that fact. This is one of the stronger tracks on the album, although Drake doesn’t make an appearance here (as he did on the recorded version) and some of the lyrics are enough to make you want to hide behind the couch in pain. Leno seems to like it though, even if he does think the album is called Pink Fridays.

Between the high school poetry club lyrics and the painfully awkward, hammy choreography, this is the last of Nicki Minaj that I intend to experience for the forseeable future. Call me when album #2 drops so I can self-flagellate my way through that one.
Well put, Craig. Haha
