Two of Young Money's biggest stars, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, had a fair amount riding on the MTV Video Music Awards last night. While the latter headlined the show and later released his new album, The Carter IV, Minaj was in the running for several awards and previewed the video for her latest Pink Friday single. Both visually and musically, "Fly" is pretty much exactly what we have come to expect from Minaj and her equally huge pop pal Rihanna. Well, OK, there's a lot less skin than we're used to, but there is that whole grandiose, end-of-the-world thing going on along with a huge hook. It's not bad, but it's not necessarily the best we've heard from Minaj or RiRi.
