Everyone who has written about this track seems to be frustrated with one thing or another. Either it's will.i.am's useless vocals, the absolutely too-easy-of-a-choice sample, or Nicki Minaj's unfortunately dreadful rapping. But hey, "Check It Out" seems to appeal to a wide-range of listeners, even so much so that these two appeared on Regis & Kelly for one hell of an awkward performance. Those who aren't feeling this track won't be won over by the equally cornball video. But if you happen to actually love "Check It Out," well, you'll probably also love the campy visuals.
Pink Friday is due out Nov. 22.
I'm gonna go ahead and admit that I like the verse on this one.
