It’s been a busy week for Nick Cave, who has debuted two videos from his Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! album. Cave has ditched his trademark suit for the “More News From Nowhere” clip, which is set in a strip club full of businessmen and British author Will Self. Cave resembles a sleazy uncle who has just returned from a day at the beach, while the Bad Seeds look like they’re enjoying a dress-down day at the office. The slow-crawling song has a late night feel that fits the video perfectly, although it’s a shame that Cave didn’t follow the lead of the strippers and attempt a little pole dancing himself. The other Bad Seeds video that surfaced this week was this clip for “Night of the Lotus Eaters.”
