Neutral Milk Hotel: "Little Birds" (Unfinished Version 2) (Unreleased)
Here's yet another previously unreleasedNeutral Milk Hotel tune that will be up for grabs should you cop that heavenly, super-comprehensive box set. It's a unfinished version of "Little Birds," a killer track that was previously only heard live. It also stands as one of the only post-In The Aeroplane Over the Sea compositions Mangum has performed. He most famously ripped through the track at a show in (of course) Athens, Ga. in December 1998. A remastered version of the live recording is set to appear as the B-side to the studio recording of "Little Birds."
