Neon Neon: I Told Her on Alderaan/ Trick for Treat (Video)

It’s fitting that the first part of this Neon Neon video, for “I Told Her on Alderaan,” is a throwback to ‘80s-style, debauchery rules music videos, since the song itself sounds like a long-lost cut from The Breakfast Club soundtrack. The second part of the video, for the Spank Rock-helped “Trick for Treat,” is a bizarre stripper homage, which also fits like a tight gold bikini, since the song would work perfectly as a strip- joint on Mercury.

Both tracks are taken from Neon Neon’s debut album Stainless Style, which is out now via Lex, and is also up for a Mercury Prize. [Stereogum]
