"Sleep Paralyst" is Alan Polomo AKA Neon Indian's first release sincehis debut Psychic Chasms made chill-waves last October. It was recorded in Terrible Studios, which belongs to Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor. Taylor helped produce the track, which sounds like the future according to the '80s.

"I wanted to find some good channel to put out a single that can start hinting at where the next Neon Indian album will go," Polomo said in an interview. "I definitely have seen a lot of the Green Label Sound stuff through bands I already like like Holy ghost or Chromeo."
