Neon Indian, The Flaming Lips: "Is David Bowie Dying?" (Live) (Video)
Back in March 2011, The Flaming Lips teamed up with Neon Indian to record a super-limited collaborative EP featuring a single that caused quite a site based on its name alone: "Is David Bowie Dying?" Commenters here at Prefix said the track sounded like it was made by glue sniffers and that neither act is fit to lick Bowie's boots. Hater-ade aside, the two acts performed the track together during the Flaming Lips' New Year's extravaganza and, thankfully, someone was there with a camera to get it all on tape. You can watch the footage below. As expected, it's pretty nutty/trippy. [130 BPM]
