Ne-Yo has been hired by the folks at Disney to pen the treacly "Never Knew I Needed," the main single from the soundtrack to the upcoming animated joint, Princess and the Frog. Granted, this is better than those cornball tracks Peabo Bryson used to cut every time Disney put out a movie, but doing a song for this movie seems like it should be the task of an American Idol winner more than a job for one of the best male R&B singers in music right now.
