"Way Down" ft. John Frusciante, RZA, and Barbie Hatch (Video)

"Way Down" is one of Spirit of Apollo's most tenuous collaborations, since it features undetectable guitar work from Red Hot Chilli Pepper John Frusciante, an okay verse from RZA, and a song dominated by California singer Barbie Hatch. It is one of the least abrasive tracks on N.A.S.A.'s debut album, however, and the song just got a pretty weird video that features warring Cardinals and Blue Jays set against a romance involving two of the birds. I'd always assumed Cardinals and Blue jays hated each other (they had to fight for the right to be the best primary color bird), and this proves it.

You lot are stupid if you can't hear John Frusciante.

I didn't say I couldn't hear him, I said he was undetectable, which means he didn't stand out and his guitar riff melted into the background. So, boom, in yo face.

He is indeed undetectable.

Undetectable, no...
As soon as I heard any guitar I recognized John's signature style. But like already stated, it melts in with the rest of the song and is quite remarkable

This song really is beautiful and deadly, just like the 'hood. The video is lovely and evil too, like a sea anemone (not my analogy). If you don't love it, you can't love hip-hop because you don't understand high quality beats or the call of the streets.
