The much hyped, excessively collaborated-with N.A.S.A. has released this video for Spirit of Apollo track "Money." Like every other track titled "money" made in the past half-century or so, this one and its accompanying video centers around how the financial system we all take part in facilitates suffering and death around the world, and if the visuals of oil fields, waterboarding, guns and Saddam Hussein from artist Shepard Fairey weren't blunt enough for ya, Ras Congo reminds us that "Money, money is the root of all evil." It occurs to this writer that David Byrne and Chuck D as individuals probably have enough cash to sex traffic me and a group of my close personal friends five times over, but they haven't, so perhaps they deserve some credit for that. The clip was directed by Syd Garon and Paul Griswold.
