To be honest, the massive amount of talented folks collaborating on The Spirit of Apollo, the debut album by DJ Zegon and Squeak E. Clean's project N.A.S.A., sounded like they were running the risk of having too much of a good thing, like trying to combine cheeseburgers and Chinese food into one glorious stew. However, after hearing the way that the group handled "Gifted," which features acts as disparate as Kanye West, Santogold and Lykke Li, I have to make a quick trip to Burger King and Panda Express. The track is a pretty cool piece of cosmic pop that places Kanye's verse front and center, wisely confines Lykke Li's quirky soprano to the chorus except for some slight backing vocals for Santogold's dubesque drawl. The Spirit of Apollo is scheduled for release Feb. 17. [Nah Right]
