Nas: "One Love" (DeMix) f. brandUn DeShay
The latest track from bubbling rapper-producer brandUn DeShay, who has worked with Curren$y and Von Pea, features the Chicago native putting his own spin on Nas' classic storytelling joint, "One Love." But don't think that this is his attempt to overshadow the work done by Nas and Q-Tip, the latter of whom produced the Illmatic track and provided its hook. Rather, this is DeShay's way of paying homage to one of his favorite cuts while also, like Nas, rapping a verse about a friend who is currently incarcerated. If DeShay wasn't on your list of rapper-producers to watch yet, it's likely he will be after you hear this.
