Nas: "Be Right" & "Courthouse"
Truth be told, these two tracks from Nas have been around either since last summer or late September. But -- and this is a big but (no Sir Mix-a-Lot) -- both "Be Right" and "Courthouse" featured tags and were unfinished when they first appeared online. As such, it was kind of awesome to find that both cuts hit the 'net this afternoon in what's expected to be their finished form. What's even more awesome is that those of you who haven't listened to them yet will be pleasantly surprised as they're equally strong showings from Nasir. Where these tracks will end up is a great question, though it's one I cannot answer right now. Hopefully they will find a home on the forthcoming Lost Tapes sequels...you know, if those ever get released.
