My Morning Jacket are going to be guests on Vh1's Storytellers on June 3, but for some reason, a handful of videos from the session have been floating around the Internet in the last 24 hours. The best one I've seen so far is this take of "Golden" from It Still Moves, which is prefaced by one of the most earnest segments I've seen on the show ever. Jim James talks about shows, his van, his grandma, and about talking to crowds. Then the song is just simple and beautiful. Reminds you how these guys just used to be the best at this, before Band of Horses and Fleet Foxes came out and stole their shine.
