Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire: "The Last Huzzah" F. Despot, Das Racist & El-P (Live In Brooklyn) (Video)

It's safe to say that, as a whole, the Prefix staff fell in love with the grimy-as-fuck raps of Brooklyn's Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire last year. We were especially taken by the "Huzzah" remix dubbed "The Last Huzzah" that turned out to be a posse cut reminiscent of the early '90s. eXquire was joined on the track by the likes of Despot, Das Racist, Danny Brown, and El-P -- in that order actually -- and each MC, to be blunt, absolutely ripped it.

And last night at Southpaw in Brooklyn, almost all of them were in attendance for eXquire's show, which ended with a killer performance of "The Last Huzzah." The only downside is that Brown wasn't there to spit his verse, but hey, at least everyone else was, right? Also, it looks like El was probably a lil' too drunk and/or high to remember all of his bars, but Despot helped him pull it together.
