Mount Eerie's second album of 2012 is on its way: Ocean Roar is out September 4 via P.W. Elverum And Sun. Now another meditative selection from the record is online, following the title track and "The Place Lives." Phil Elverum is drawing a lot of his inspiration from the tiny Washington town of Anacortes where he's built a recording studio. "I Walked Home Beholding" is a snapshot of an icy night wherein Elverum wanders the empty streets of the sleepy town, soaking in the atmosphere in a methodical way. You can practically smell the pine trees and the cold air as the guitars and organ bubble underneath his clear voice. Take a listen below.
