Mount Eerie: "Distorted Cymbals"
It's been a minute since we heard some actual new music from Phil Elverum and his Mount Eerie project. Hell, the only time we've really posted about him lately is when we found the hilarious video of him doing a karaoke version of Lil Wayne's "I Got Money." But it appears we will be hearing at least one new track from Mount Eerie next year. K Records is releasing the "Distorted Cymbals" single on Feb. 7, 2012 and they just uploaded the track to their tumblr for listening. It's pretty goddamn good and features some killer panning, which leaves us thinking Elverum must be on a fastidious tip musically. You can stream the track at the K Records tumblr.
