It’s been a greatweek for heavy metal bands on late night talk shows. One of the biggest names in the genre, the mighty Motorhead, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show yesterday (Oct. 8), where they eschewed the chance to promote their latest album, Motörizer, instead choosing to perform the classic 1982 single “Iron Fist.”
Much like AC/DC, Motorhead hit on a winning formula early in their career and never strayed far from that path. This clip features some wonderfully gruff vocals from Lemmy, a spiky guitar solo, and…well, you known how it goes by now. Check out the women wearing Motorhead motorcycle helmets in the front row.
