Most folks would probably want Motörhead to perform a classic track from their canon—specifically “The Ace of Spades”—during a late night TV talk show appearance. But Lemmy has a new album out to promote, the umlaut-tastic The Wörld is Yours, and they pulled a track from it titled “Get In Line” for Conan O’Brien’s show last night (Jan. 26). It’s a surprising dip into pastoral folk balladry, with Lemmy showing up actually wearing flowers in his hair and…oh, who are we trying to kid? You know the drill by now, this is gruff rock drilled down to a raw welt, with no flash, fuss, no waste. Just the way we like it.
